& it's just miie and...
New Era Dawning
The headline would probably already have started flashing to release lastest news on the swearing of
Mr. Barack Obama to become US' 44th President. And let my post be one of those, smaller scale headlines displays. haha.
Wow. I stayed awake just to watch him swear and take the oath for becoming US' next President. I'm really fascinated. I mean, all along I've been telling my sister that I really want him to win the election. I've seen him on Oprah's show, his debates before the election, heard about and viewed his speeches that clearly showed what his aims were and of course, his policy of "Everyone's equal, and each person has the rights to pursue his own happiness." In fact, he reinforced that in his picture just now.
He also spoke about saving the
Earth, measures had to be taken, such as energy and water saving measures; America to unite as one and their determination in defeating terrorism; the downfall of the economy to be addressed to; the role each citizen has to play to uphold the nation's quality and standard ( an ever improving environment); he quoted the courage of fire fighters and the willingness of parents to educate their children; the high hospital charges and failing rates in schools etc. What caught my attention most was when he stated taht America has ha a long history and that the challenges that it faces now are
NEW, theinstruments with which these challenges are to be handled are
NEW, but what is
OLD is the
honesty, integrity, fairplay, loyalty, patriotism and a few other basic qualities that a nation should have. I feel that what he said was so true. I mean, not just on a national level, but on an individual level too.
Whatever he has said in his speech was definitely motivational, inspiring and made the high hopes and confidence that so many people have on him unwaver. I too have much confidence in him of upholding the nation he leads, along with the other nations he befriends.
This is really the 1st time in my entrie life that I'm actually so interested in America's Presidency things. I've never been so intrigued by these kind of issues before, but of course,
Barack Obama is always an exception. haha. In any case, the heights that he has reached being a black has truly been an emotional moment for many, of course, for me too as I feel really proud of him to have done so. He has achieved something that not many people have achieved thus far. His path shows that no one is deprived of anything to reach his goals and that there is in fact no obstruction in doing so. The only person whom one needs to overcome before attaining his ambitions is himself. He has really motivated me a great deal. :)
If given a chance, I would yearn to meet him. :)
Oh, Mr. Obama,
congrats! Love,
