& it's just miie and...

Thursday evening, my 2 sisters, brother-in-law, nephew and I went to watch wall-e at Cathay. I wasn't expecting much of the movie but i was really very dazzled by it. It was really touching, romantic and a very affectionate movie albeit it was very unrealistic. haha. We went for dinner after that and headed home.
2nd sis left for Hong Kong on Friday morning and I'm really missing her. I'm feeling so bored at home. -.- Can't wait for Ramadan to start, I'm sure I'll be occupied then. :)
That's all for now. =)
Love,
NisA

& it's just miie and...

The feeling one experiences after the long aniticipated and yet unwanted ending to a story occurs is miserable. I'm referring to SUBRAMNIAPURAM. A Tamil movie named after a village. It's a mixture of gore and romance.
For the non-Indians and for those who have no time to watch it, here's the stroyline:
It's about this guy and his 2 friends who do not earn a living but live at the expense of their other friends: one who's got a job and one who's physically challenged. This guy and the daughter of whom he works here and there for are in love. Upon the request of the uncle of this girl to whom her lover is very loyal to, the lover offers to help him murder his rival to help him rise back to his position in his political group. However, when he and his friend surrender themselves to the police, in the believe that they'll be taken out on bail eith the help of this man, they realise that they were betrayed. With the help of a stranger, they get released. After which both of them get involved in a killing spree to save themselves and to ultimately kill the man who betrayed them and got them into this mess. Even then, the main guy and his lover meet up sometimes and when her uncle, the man who betrayed the two guys, finds out about this, he begs her to let him go. Left with no choice, having to put her family first, the girl relishes her love and meets her lover as usual. She cries and cries, letting her lover do all the talking. Finally, some guys who were in ambush, kill the guy. When his friend wanted to avenge him, he killed the girl's uncle and finally was killed too.
The most memorable part of the story was when the main guy was being killed and he looks his lover who was being dragged away from the site by her uncle. His stare was full of disbelieve and disappointment that his lover had actually betrayed him after so much and that his love had failed. Little did he know how much angst and pressure the girl went through and that she did this without a choice. But they both loved each other truly.
I felt really miserable after the show which felt so genuine.
Anyway, back to reality now. Just learnt that we should take no one or anything for granted and that the choices we make affect our future. Life's just like the stones on a mountain on where it has just rained. We have to take every step with as much caution as we would on the slippery stones.
Leaving you something to think about....

Love,
NisA

& it's just miie and...

It's been long, but I'm glad to type in here again. :)
I feel so good that my final paper just ended today! I was too happy about the fact that I couldn't help but smile all the way when I handed in my paper, but apparently some of my friends thought that I felt the paper was easy. haha. whatever.
Anyway, we went to MAD JACK cafe after school to give a surprise birthday party for pei ming, rocky and hadi. Really hope that they enjoyed it.
Some of us left earlier to get rocky and hadi their ties cuz suk yi and I couldn't find time to get them after we took sooo loong to buy pei ming a dress last Friday. Haha. I really think that dress is very nice and that pei ming will look really sweet in it. I still can't believe the fact that we initially planned to get her a purple dress, I really wonder if she'd dare to wear it to school otherwise.
Oh well, after so looong, I got to eat my favourite blackforest cake, just hope that I didn't look too insightly when I licked the remains of my cake. oops. Anyway, I had a great time today, will upload the photos once I get them ya!

To think of it, I never celebrated my birthday with many friends or had a party for it. Instead, every year, I'd celebrate it with a cake and my family. I'd feel so blessed that I have a family to count on and another year to look forward to. When I was much younger, I used to crave for presents, haha. now, I really don't look forward to getting presents but instead giving them. And I really thank God for giving me that mentality. It feels really good and satisfying to give than to receive. :)

Ok. moving on...the Olympics. Pretty sad that it ahs ended cuz I really enjoyed watching the athletes ace in their professional fields. Wow, it's just so astonishingly amazing. I think the 2 sports that I relished most were Synchronized swimming and Artistic gymanstics. For the 1st, I marvelled at the way 2 humans with totally different shapes and thinking could actually jump almost to the same height, be so coordinated and precise and sleek in every movement, turn and flip. For the latter, the complex formations and level of poise and skill of handling ropes, throwing them a few metres in the air and retreiving them from another spot...Just so impeccable...So magnificent. No doubt there's a lot of hard wrok, perserverance and training behind all these. But the fact that the athletes did it without a single flaw is still very astounding.

Sometimes, when I watched the sports on tv, I'd feel that I wish I was one of them tooo. Then I'd realise that it's a bit too late cuz these athletes have been training for these since young.

Oh well, now that holidays are here, I just want to make good use of my time. Really look forward to a fruitful and simultaneously, a relaxing time ahead.
That's all for now.

Cheers,
NisA
