my beloved cuz sis & me
Apparently there are some complications; can't seem to upload the other photos taken at Hyderabad. Anyway, the trip began at christchurch. I took a flight from S'pore to Chennai, met my brother there and we took a flight to Auckland. From there, a domestic flight to Christchurch. The trip was really relaxing with the really cold ( abt 13 degrees Celsius) and worse at night, vast lands of plain sceneries ( that was when I hoped I was a photographer), quiet ambience all over (when I hoped I was living there) and pure, white sheep. We had a look at how the sheep were wooled for their wool ( duh) and how the sheep were incubated to keep them warm during winter ( apparently their winter is during the earlier part of the yr).
Best part of our stay there, manifestly, was the hotel; Novotel. Cuz I was really hoping against hope that I lived there, it was like royalty; you know. From the shower to the aroma of the bathroom, to the light designs, to the lakeview, to the carpets, to the wardrobe layout, to the tv...list can go on. my goodness. I really had no heart to leave the place. Even now i tell my brother that we should've really just stayed at the hotel than looked around more. We spent about 3 1/2 days there.
Then, we headed to Hyderabad, where we also stayed at Novotel. Ya, my brother has a membership with Accor plus. Anyway, it was another take away from the trip. My bro managed to get the diffuser aroma that filled the bathroom back at novotel, christchurch here. We brought it back home and now it's in our bathroom. :) We spent only 1 1/2 days there. At least we tried their local delights: Hyderabad briyani, which is famour in S'pore too & Chutneys, a famous restaurant there.
We came back to Cennai; mainly for 2 reasons: Visiting our relatives and shopping. I really missed my relatives and seeing them after such a long break was really very, very heart-filling. I missed my cuzs the most and of course, a day wasn't enough at all, but for now at least, it was really very rewarding to see them. :)
Like always, good things have to come to an end. We had to return to S'pore in the evening flight and I was really shacked to my bones. When I reached Singapore, I was still in my holiday blues. But reality spanked me when I saw my most, most beloved family awaiting our arrival. That was when I realised how much I missed them. Oh my, I was really glad to be back home.
Some of the movies I watched both overseas and here are: The day the Earth stood still; Twilight (unfortunately, it never happens in reality); Vaaranam Aayiram & Goal ( no doubt the main character reminds me of someone).
Today's the last day of my hols. I really had a good break. Alhamdulillah. Thks to my family, esp. my brother. :)
Tmr, back to SCHOOL! looking forward to see my friends.
That's all for now.
Love,
NisA
